I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am one of many members and follow my faith as best I know. I am not perfect and neither are other members. We simply try our best, like everyone else, to improve ourselves.
This is the restored Church of Jesus Christ, which is the same as the church Jesus founded when he lived on Earth. After the Apostles died, the Priesthood no longer existed on the earth. Jesus' resurrected Apostles, Peter, James and John conferred the Priesthood on Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery. This is why we call this church restored. Joseph Smith wrote the thirteen Articles of Faith to explain to others what our basic beliefs are.
